There is a story behind Alfredo's creamy sauce. Like many other Italian sauces, this one arises in the United States. They say a man named Alfredo de Lillio invented the sauce to tempt his pregnant wife to eat something different. In 1914, he cooked a fettuccine and made a sauce with butter and parmesan cheese to pour on them. She must have loved her when Alfredo opened his own restaurant in Rome, and one of the dishes he gave was Fettuccini Alfredo.
There are several ways to make Alfredo sauce, and of course, you can serve with any kind of pasta you have. It does not have to be fettuccine.

Alfredo sauce recipe
Half a cup of butter
1 liter of thick cream
4 ounces of cream cheese
1 or 2 cloves garlic finely chopped fina (more if you like garlic)
1 bunch of basil leaves, finely shredded
1 cup fresh parmesan cheese
Salt and pepper grated as desired

Melt butter and stir cream with cheese. Cook on medium heat, stirring all the time to prevent burning sauce or sticking. When the cream cheese is melted, add all other ingredients, except parmesan cheese.
When the sauce is soft and smooth, add parmesan cheese. Turn for 3 minutes until parmesan dissolves.
Offer hot pasta with your choice.
Alfredo sauce is versatile, so you can try it. Pour the lightly boiled cauliflower as a substitute for the cheese sauce. Add cooked chicken or bacon slices to the sauce, or add both. If you like flat leaf parsley, add some as desired.
You can use different cheeses and try a combination of parmesan and two of your favorites. The blue cheese in this sauce can be used dramatically.
If you eat a diet, you can use milk instead of cream, just make a white sauce and add cheese. If you do not have Parmesan, do not worry! You can use grated mozzarella and grilled gruyere or strong cheddar if you prefer.
It is best not to use parmesan cheese in advance, it spoils the flavor of the sauce.
